The pandemic has rewritten the definition of luxury during and will do so post lock down too. We have seen new symbols and parameters of luxury emerge. We will realise that luxury is not how wealthy we are but how healthy one needs to be.

Our luxuries are measured in the hours we spent with our loved ones, the number of good deeds we performed and all those occasions indulged in spreading cheer and positivity around.
Luxury will be that extra time one gets to see their children win the board game and not a company sponsored cruise trip as an incentive.

Luxury will be those moments of the day when one could attend to the hitherto inconsequential plants in the backyard. New found moments of evening walks with the beloved will remain some of the most luxurious times henceforth.

That billion dollar moment playing the chef for the family would remain the most luxurious getaway one has ever had till date.
People will eventually realise that luxury is not indulging in the riches, expensive gadgets or worldly possessions but the richness of those little moments of life. Simple pleasures, unpretentious emotions and experiences will redefine the true luxuries of life.

Here’s the learning; the biggest luxury we have is Life itself. Therefore relish every small thing as if it’s the biggest luxury you have. Learn to value the things we have and never undermine their utility and capability.
Respect what we have and cherish every bit of it with your hearts’ content.

Do not try to chase luxury coz luxury is a superfluous notion. Instead see each and every moment and thing in life the as most luxurious. You then truly would have lived the luxurious live than anybody else.
